CLIENT ASSISTANCE & TRANSPORTATION POLICY

RJ Medical Transport

RJ Medical Transport provides Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) services only. Our

drivers are not authorized to perform personal care, home health aide, CNA, or EMS duties.

For the safety of our clients and staff, our drivers will NOT: Lift clients from beds. Transfer

clients from beds to wheelchairs. Carry clients up or down stairs. Provide personal care services

inside the home. Perform medical or healthcare-related services. Client Responsibilities

Clients must be prepared and ready for transportation upon the driver's arrival. If a client requires

assistance getting out of bed, transferring to a wheelchair, or navigating stairs, arrangements must

be made in advance through a family member, caregiver, home health aide, or local EMS service.

If appropriate assistance is not available upon arrival, RJ Medical Transport reserves the right to

decline transportation for the safety of the client and our staff.
